How pathetic did that female reporter sound? So many more important things to ask Barak Obama in his ->?

News conference & the all important question she can ask is what kind of dog Obama is going to get for his kids? This country is in shambles & that’s the best question she can think of? And then people wonder why the Media is such a joke.
I know i sound picky & i apologize for that. But cmon. They are more important questions this Reporter couldv’e asked.

Yeah, it was a frivolous question but I was kinda wondering to. Did you notice on one question that Obama Elect said "uh" nine times? It struck me that he was kinda struggling for the answer.

You are absolutely correct, but it seems that she was only reflecting the same questions that so many Americans have already asked. What kind of puppy the Obamas are going to get seems like a top priority to some.

For what it’s worth, she did ask some other questions, also, but most were about as mundane as the puppy question.

I agree, the first dog will not affect anyone and is a dumb question to ask, especially when there will probably be a news special on it when it happens. We need to quit dumbing down everything especially things that matter like the President.

I’m glad she asked. Dogs are one segment of the population that can’t speak for themselves. But anyone here who is a pet lover knows that dogs become part of your family. And this is a wonderful opportunity for Obama to adopt a rescue dog. That will focus attention on the shelters and hopefully help end "puppy mills".

well he gave a better answer than "I’m going to skip over that question."

    >.> I think it was quite a good hearted question and really, as if you aren’t going to hear enough of that crap on the news anyway.

Get your facts right. Obama is the one who said he would get a dog for the girls two days ago she was asking what kind.
