How to build a strong bridge using light wood?
We’re doing the university challenge at newcastle uni and my group chose the activity, ‘Gold Rush’. Basically, we need to make a bridge, and the lightest one wins. Of course, if only it can hold up. I heard triangles are the most rigid, but it needs to be able to support a heavy cart that [...]

When it’s fairly well accepted I live in Lancs? Put it this way I’ll be going into Bolton tonight, to the Asda on the A666. So unless I’ll be making a special cross country trip, would anyone like to know if the roadworks are still there on the Dunscar Bridge? Can take a little pic [...]

What is the best way to handle a nose bleed?
I take care of my Grandma most weeks and she occasionally gets these nasty nosebleeds that won’t stop. Any suggestions? Is there something I should be doing besides using kleenix, pinching the bridge of her nose, and having her sit up? Thank you. She has already seen a doctor about it.
